Graham started his security career by joining the British Army at the age of 17 and served a full 22 years. During this time he completed several operational tours and deployments in the Middle East, Europe, and North America reaching the rank of Warrant Officer by the time he left.
On leaving the forces he re-qualified in Close Protection and went on to work on projects in Iraq for Control Risk Group and Aegis Defence Services at what can only be described as ‘challenging times’ during the height of the insurgency.
Graham was then recruited to work in Algeria as Director of Security for IHI Cooperation, managing on a day to day basis all aspects of security for a workforce of over 5000.
In 2009 Graham was successfully interviewed as a Senior High-Risk Advisor for the BBC, specialising in taking teams to high-risk areas globally.
Although his work in the main has been with News Gathering teams he also advises programmes such as Top Gear, Sports (F1), and international events. He currently specialises in briefing and supporting teams wanting to cover news stories in the Middle East and South East Asia.
As the owner and Managing Director of Clearview Security, Graham has a hands-on approach to company activities.
